Three Lochs Hostel

The Hostel is based in The Centre 81 Community Centre and can accommodate up to 45 persons with dormitory style accommodation,
Our accommodation consists of the following rooms
5 x six bedded bunk rooms with 2 main shower rooms,
Single beds in a dormatory available or a whole 6 bed room can be booked.
2 x twin rooms each with a private shower room
A new comfy sitting opened spring 2022
Please note standard rooms are accessed by 2 flights of stairs
A barrier free dormitory which has its own en-suite with shower is available on the ground floor
Free off road parking for visitors.
Sheets and kitchen facilities for self catering incuded but please bring your own towels.
The Hostel is based in Centre 81 Youth and Community Centre and all the Centre facilities are available for hostel users to use during our normal opening times.

The Hostel is situated close to the shore at the head of The Gareloch and is beautifully positioned for birdwatching and walks around the Loch.

The Hostel is centrally placed in the village which has a varity of amenities
The village has a varity of small shops for food and general goods.
The Village hairdresser is situated on the main street
The Anchor Inn ( for Bar meals)
The Perch Cafe Brunches and Lunches, Coffee and Cake
Take aways can be found at Ali's (Kebabs, Pizza, Curries, Fish and Chips) and The Golden Valley (Chinese)
The Village also has a Post Office, Medical Centre, Pharmacy and Petrol Station
The Parish Church is opposite Centre 81.
Garelochhead Railway station is on the West Highland line with services east to Glasgow and Edinburgh and North west to Oban and Fort William.
Regular bus services to Helensburgh and Coulport (for Kilgreggan ferry)
The Centre is also close to the bus route east into Helensburgh or west around the Rosneath Peninsula.
Ferries from Kilgreggen (on the bus route) take you across the Clyde to Gourock and Greenock.
A short walk will take you to the West Highland Railway line where a small number of trains stop during the day linking to the centre of Glasgow, Oban and the Highlands. Please check timetables before walking up to the station.
